about
Colja Amare Liri is a Vienna-based visual artist. Following her training as a sculptor at the Fachschule für Kunsthandwerk und Design in Elbigenalp, Tyrol (graduating in 2024), she shifted her focus toward painting and multimedia installations, intentionally developing a distinct visual language that merges political awareness with deeply personal introspection.
Her international practice began with her participation in a woodcarving symposium in Brienz (Switzerland), which led to early exhibitions in Kyoto (Japan) at Gallery Sho and the International Community House (KCIF).
In 2026, Colja Amare Liri participated with her wall installation Sollbruchstelle:Kohärenz in the exhibition “Blut ohne Gewalt“ at Galerie Newman.
Since then, she has been officially represented by the gallery.
Her works Tear Apart and XC were presented in Vienna as part of the exhibition “Occupy the Gaze – Pride Take Over” at Atlas Bar & Gallery, as well as in Galerie Replugged.
